Apiome Atlas
A JSON Schema 2020-12 type registry every tenant and project can $ref.
Apiome Atlas is a dedicated registry for JSON Schema 2020-12 types — shared system primitives plus per-tenant custom types, all addressed by relative $ref URLs rooted at their import source. Author new types with constraints and scopes, bind object properties to them from the visual editor, and import raw schemas or full type bundles with automatic conflict and reference resolution.

What ships with Atlas
Every Atlas surface is wired into the rest of the Apiome platform — no glue code, no separate identity, no bolt-on integrations.
System & tenant scopes
Ship core primitives to every tenant while letting each tenant own custom types under its own namespace.
Namespace type browser
Explore std and tenant namespaces as a tree with a live $ref resolution preview.
Visual type builder
Author a new type from a base $ref, add constraints and formats, and assign $id, namespace, and scope.
Property binding
Bind any object property in the Data Designer to a standard or custom Atlas type in one click.
Schema & bundle import
Ingest raw JSON Schemas and full type-definition bundles from file, URL, or git with namespace mapping.
Reference resolution
Resolve relative $refs against their import-source base and surface unresolved or circular references.

JSON Schema source with resolved $refs, dependents, and worked examples.

Use cases
Atlas is designed around the way real teams actually work — not the way a tool wants them to work.
Publish a canonical set of primitive and shared types that every product team resolves against.
Import an external vendor schema bundle and remap it cleanly into a tenant namespace.
Bind request and response properties to registry types so contracts stay consistent across services.
- Dedicated registry database isolated per deployment
- Governed system-type publishing with version roots
- Import review with conflict and $ref-rewrite gates
- Configurable draft, resolution, and validation policy
- Full dependents graph for safe type changes
- Suggest reusable types from recurring property shapes
- Draft constraints and formats from example values
- Recommend namespace and scope on import
- Explain and repair unresolved or circular $refs
AI that keeps your type system coherent
Atlas includes an assistant that proposes reusable types from repeated property shapes, drafts constraints from examples, and untangles broken reference graphs during import.
Every AtlasAI feature is grounded in your tenant's data, runs under your data-residency policy, and respects every role and ACL the platform enforces.
